Having a mental health condition is equivalent to a life sentence<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>False<\/strong>. People with mental health conditions can recover, provided they receive appropriate treatment and adequate family and social support.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2289a3;\"><strong>3. Mental health conditions only affect adults<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>False<\/strong>. In reality, they also affect children and adolescents. For example, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning difficulties, depression, anxiety, and others may manifest from an early age.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2289a3;\"><strong>4. People with mental health conditions are violent and dangerous<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>False<\/strong>. No scientific study supports the claim that individuals with mental health conditions are more violent than the general population. On the contrary, people living with mental health conditions are often victims of violence as a result of stigma.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2289a3;\"><strong>5. People with mental health conditions cannot lead a \"normal\" life<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Parcialmente falso<\/strong>.
