We are pleased to share an excellent news with you: we are participating in the One Young World Summit 2017, a globally renowned event that brings together young leaders from 196 countries to develop solutions aimed at addressing the most pressing issues on the international agenda.
Gemma Canepa, Co-Founder and Director of Sociocultural Management and Innovation at De-mentes, is representing our organization at this important summit, which takes place this week in the city of Bogotá. This participation constitutes a recognition of the work De-mentes has been carrying out to transform the reality of mental health in our country.
"I feel truly honored to participate as a delegate at One Young World. This is an excellent opportunity to share with other leaders and professionals the situation and impact of mental health in Peru, as well as the work De-mentes has been developing over several years. I am committed to returning to Peru and to De-mentes with new ideas and experiences that will contribute to transforming the country and to making that stigma-free society we dream of a reality," Gemma tells us with great enthusiasm.
